As part of its modernization strategy, including a new brand identity launched in 2021, Mise au Green strengthened its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR), ensuring 100% of its products are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. To accelerate its digital transformation and meet new regulatory demands, the brand partnered with Trace For Good to industrialize its traceability processes and streamline the management of its certifications.

The challenge: Managing large-scale certification and AGEC compliance

Before adopting Trace For Good, Mise au Green’s traceability and certification processes were handled manually — relying on spreadsheets and email exchanges with suppliers. This method required nearly two months of work per collection, involving repetitive follow-ups, document verification, and summary preparation.

The brand’s objectives were to:

Automated certificate management: the oeko-tex module

Following its traceability success, Mise au Green extended its collaboration with Trace For Good to develop a custom certificate management module, co-built to meet the specific needs of Oeko-Tex certification.

Key features include:

Automatic collection of supplier certificates, guided by pre-set business rules for each standard.
OCR (Optical Character Recognition) extraction of key data (factory name, address, certification level, license number).
Centralized dashboards allowing instant visibility of valid, missing, or expired certificates.
Direct export of validated data to Oeko-Tex authorities (e.g., OETI Institute in Austria).

This system has drastically reduced manual workload, cutting certification processing time from two months to just a few days.
